At some point, most people will face challenges in our communities. This might be during a one-off local or national emergency or it could be recurring concerns within your community like anti-social behaviour and other crimes. The information below will help yourself and others in your community to stay safer and show you how to report concerns or crimes if you need to.

  • Anti-social behaviour (ASB) can have a negative impact on a community. If you're concerned about ASB in your neighbourhood, report it to us.

  • Report a crime, incident or suspicion to Northumbria Police. If crime is happening now or someone is in immediate danger, call 999 now.

  • If you're struggling with something, please reach out. Our friendly team are happy to chat about what's going on and where to find support.

  • Report a concern about an adult or child to the council online or call 01670 536 400. If you believe someone is in immediate danger call 999.
